About Sergio Perez, CPA

Sergio Perez, CPA, is a Director at HLB Gravier LLP, having rejoined the firm in January 2017. Prior to returning to HLB Gravier, Mr. Perez worked with CW Tax Services Corp in Miami.

With more than 14 years of professional experience, including over nine years in public accounting, Mr. Perez specializes in tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and international clients. His expertise includes international and corporate tax planning, international tax compliance reporting obligations, and the resolution of complex IRS examinations involving large business entities.

Mr. Perez works closely with clients to help navigate evolving tax regulations, manage compliance requirements, and develop practical tax strategies aligned with their financial and operational objectives.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and International Business from New Jersey City University, and his Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University.

Mr. Perez is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of both the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
