About Nelson Pastor

Nelson Pastor is an Audit Partner at HLB Gravier LLP with more than 10 years of experience providing audit, assurance, and advisory services across a wide range of industries. His expertise includes real estate and construction, hospitality, entertainment, wholesale distribution, agriculture, charter schools, governmental entities, and nonprofit organizations.

Mr. Pastor has extensive experience conducting financial statement audits, internal controls evaluations, and litigation support services. He has also assisted organizations in achieving Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404 compliance through the identification, documentation, and testing of internal controls across multiple business processes.

Known for his practical and detail-oriented approach, Mr. Pastor works closely with clients to strengthen financial reporting, improve compliance processes, and manage operational and regulatory risk.

In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Pastor has served as a guest speaker and lecturer at Florida International University, presenting on current accounting topics, industry developments, and emerging financial reporting matters.

Mr. Pastor earned his Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Miami and his Master of Accounting from Florida International University. He is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
